Days of our Lives Peacock recap for Monday, October 3, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Sarah blasts Gwen for trying to frame her, Jennifer realizes she ran down Gwen, and so does Gwen.
In Friday’s Days recap, Brady caught Chloe drinking champagne with Stefan, Kristen demanded Dr. Rolf help her with Brady, and Rex figured out the cure for Kayla, Kate and Marlena.
Monday…
Will visits Sonny in his room to tell him he’s being released.
They can finally put this nightmare behind them. Leo arrives with a fruit bouquet. “Fruit anyone?”
He’s celebrating being released. He looks at Ari’s artwork and exclaims. “Is that supposed to be a unicorn? Ew.”
He’s there to thank Sonny for saving his life. He’s eternally grateful. If he hadn’t smelled “Clyde’s drugstore and girly cologne,” he’d still be in jail.
He asks for his job back at Titan. Sonny laughs and reminds him he falsely accused him of sexual harassment.
He admits it’s not up to him now. It’s up to Alex.
Leo’s not happy about that and comments that he looks like someone “that I can’t put my finger on.”
He calls them an adorable couple and says he’s always been partial to brunettes.
“Especially ones with big….soulful eyes.” He leaves Will and Sonny smirking.
Will jumps on a call from work and seems incredulous as he says, “His dogs can’t read my energy over Zoom?”
He disconnects and tells his husband that the star of the project won’t sign unless their golden doodles give him the stamp of approval.
Sonny laughs but thinks it’s time Will goes.
Will worries about what that’ll mean for them because he has a lot of projects on the go.
He should follow his dreams and Sonny will get his company back from his snake of a brother, Alex.
Alex strides in having heard his name. Sonny whines about him stealing his company just like when they were kids and he stole toys.
Alex is annoyed. He didn’t steal anything.
He implores Will to help so Will asks them to call a truce and get over themselves. They apologize and shake hands.
He admits he was in a bad mood because he found Stephanie and she bit his head off. WilSon reveals that it wasn’t about him.
Steph’s mom is pretty sick.
Jennifer finishes a call at Alice’s when Chad turns up in the living room.
She tells him she’s off to rehab.
Her brother Mike is affiliated with a facility in New York.
She’ll leave today. Chad worries he leaned on her too much.

He didn’t see this. Jennifer knows he was already suffering. Chad reveals he saw Abigail and realizes he needs to be strong for everyone.
He knows it sounds crazy as he fills her in on what happened.
Jennifer reveals she too saw her.
They smile and cry together as she tells him Abigail was with her in the car on the way to the police station.
Chad tells her it’s time he was there for her. Abby would want them to be close.
Jenn agrees. Chad vows it won’t change while she’s away. He loves her and would do anything for her.
They hug. Chad goes and Jennifer flashes to the accident and hand to her mouth, she realizes she ran Gwen down.
Gwen dreams about the hit-and-run and wakes up uneasy.
Sarah asks if she remembered something from the accident.
The kind of car or the driver? Gwen looks disturbed.
Sarah thinks it’s time they discuss her trying to have Sarah committed. Was it all just revenge?
Gwen did what she could to keep Xander from him but she got him and the happily ever after.
Meanwhile, Gwen got stuck in this hospital bed. She apologizes but Sarah doesn’t believe her. Sarah thinks she’s bitter.
Gwen assures she’ll stay away from her and Xander. Sarah warns, “You damned well better.”
By the hub, Stephanie talks to Joey on a call and lies that their mom is fine. Alex appears and asks what’s wrong.
She refuses to tell him and he becomes upset and hands over the quarterly projections and takes off.
Leo visits Gwen in her room. He wants to know if it’s true that someone ran her down like a fluffy squirrel outside the police station.
She admits it is and she’s bruised and traumatized. He hands her the chocolate-covered strawberries he bought for her and one’s missing.
She asks what happened. He stress ate it after he heard about her accident.
When he asks what happened, she remembers seeing Jennifer driving the car.
She tells him Jennifer was behind the wheel! They assume she did this on purpose but wonder why now.
They’ll expose her! He eats the other strawberry. Leo wants to blackmail her for money. She’s not sure.
Leo tries to convince her but she’s not into it. A nurse appears to take Gwen to radiology. A CT scan.
“Ooh. That sounds very expensive,” Leo chirps.
Xander finds Jack at the pub, waiting for takeout for Gwen.
He’s glad to hear she’s on the mend and asks for leads on the driver.
Jack says that the cameras weren’t working on that side of the building that night. They’ve budget issues.
So does Xander. Jack offers to help so Xandy asks for a job.
Jack doesn’t seem to be really hearing as Xander asks for an assistant editor or doing ads. “I think Jennifer is the one who hit Gwen,” Jack says.
He admits Jenn’s been abusing drugs. Xander is so sorry.
Jack admonishes himself for not seeing it and Gwen’s the one who told him.
He explains that Jennifer drove while high to the police station. The timing fits. Xander promises to keep quiet.
Jack says they’ll discuss the job at another time. He needs to talk to Jennifer. Xander offers to bring Caroline’s chowdah to her.
Chad finds Stephanie at a table outside of Julie’s Place. She takes a call from Joey, again putting him off from returning to Salem.
She disconnects and talks to Chad about her mother being hospitalized due to a mysterious illness that Marlena and Kate also have.
Chad worries but she says they’re stable. She’s overwhelmed with work and thought being outside would make it go faster.
Chad offers to help. She reminds him it’s for Titan. Chad doesn’t mind. He’s out of work and has nothing to do and mouths to feed. They work side-by-side.
Jack rushes home and calls for Jennifer but finds Leo curled up in Alice’s chair. He too is looking for Jennifer and asks Jack to get out his check book. Jack questions why.
Leo informs that Jenn ran over his bestie and he’s going to write him a ‘very large’ check to pay for it. Jack looks disgusted.
Jennifer visits Gwen in the hospital and Gwen asks if she’s there to finish her off.
