Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, December 15, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Nicole is upset to find Eric and Sloan together, sans clothing, and Brady meets Sister Mary Moira and plants a kiss on her.
In the last Days recap, Rafe learned Nicole is living with EJ, Steve told Rafe and Jada that EJ kidnapped Tripp, and Ava showed Charlie that she had a bomb.
At the townhouse, Brady talks to Tate on a call about a resort in Aspen that he thinks is pretty great.
Kristen appears with mistletoe and he says he’ll call his son back. Brady asks what she’s doing. She says Rachel made it in art class.
Brady doesn’t like encouraging her in parent trapping them. Kristen’s encouraging her creativity.
She gets her coat and says she’s off to Susan’s memorial. Brady’s not sure her brother will want her there but she says she has a plan.
She leaves and later, Brady finds Sister Mary Moira in the living room holding the Marlena doll.
“Just what sort of voodoo is this?” She asks.
He’s baffled. She calls it evil and thinks she came just in time. Brady smirks. “Nice try, Kristen.”
She’s shocked he confused her with that Godless wretch. She’s there to see Marlena.
Brady asks if that’s her plan to go to Susan’s funeral dressed as her sister, the nun.
Moira’s confused. Brady pulls out the mistletoe and kisses the nun, thinking Kristen will admit it’s really her.
Mary Moira squeals and shoves Brady away.
How dare he press his unclean lips against the flesh of one of Christ’s sacred brides?
Brady realizes she’s not Kristen.
“Oh God.”
Moira chastizes him for taking his name in vain.
She asks what’s wrong with him.
He apologizes profusely and she gets out her ruler and starts smacking his arm.
“Ow! Ow! What are you doing?” He says.
At Sloan’s apartment, Eric gives Nicole the evil eye as Sloan demands to know why Nicole’s there.
She says Roman was concerned about him.
She lets herself in. “Seriously? You’re sleeping with her?”
Eric asks what it is to her.
Sloan barks at her and Eric asks for time alone so she goes to dress.
Nicole asks what’s wrong with her ex. “Nothing.”
She judges him for drinking and sleeping with a “trashy lawyer.” He reminds her she was with EJ.
She clarifies they’re not having sex. He thinks she should be looking for an apartment instead of following him around.
He blasts her again for encouraging her to get Jada to abort.
She thinks he’s drowning in self-pity and this isn’t him.
Eric says people like her and Samii do what they want without worrying about consequences.
He gets it. Why be the good twin when it’s more fun being the bad twin. Sloan returns, dressed and Eric kicks Nic out.
She asks if he wants to go after her but he doesn’t. She says they’ve time for sex before she has to be at work. She takes off his towel. He likes the way she thinks and makes out with her.
They have sex and he goes to shower alone. She invites him to return after work.
At home, EJ tells Johnny how much Susan loved him. Johnny chokes up. EJ blames Ava.
He says he saw her at the crash site but Tony and Chad made him realize he hallucinated after drinking.
Johnny’s sorry. EJ’s glad his son is with him. They hug. Johnny hopes this brings him peace.
In the DiMera crypt, Ava says the bomb has enough power to take out the church.
Charlie laughs. She jokes that EJ will be “resting in pieces,” then laughs at her own joke.
She thinks it’d be nice if her other enemies got what was coming to them like Nicole.
She details what Nicole did to her.
John and Marlena meet at Horton Square with packages from Christmas shopping.
They kiss and she says she got that camera drone Johnny wanted.
She got the troll dolls Holly wanted but isn’t sure how much of her they’ll see since Eric and Nicole parted ways.
She got a junior marine biology kit. They squee with happiness though they know they can’t give her what she really wants.
Her mom and dad reunited. John thinks it must be confusing for her that they live together.
Marlena wishes she knew why. John says they need to get her out of their lives for good. Marlena has an idea.
She thinks John should befriend Kristen and then he can get intel from her. They laugh.
She says it’s good parenting, though, not a scheme.
She has another idea, one that will persuade Kristen to let down her guard. Later, John says he’ll go now and she can pay his respects at Susan’s funeral. She would understand it’s importance.
Kristen visits EJ at the DiMera mansion. He gives her a drink and she downs it, thanking him.
He says she can thank him by leaving. She wants to say goodbye to Susan and to be there for him. “Over my dead body,” he snipes.
He reminds her she took him away from his mother when he was a baby.
She reminds him they got past it years ago but Susan never did, he tells her. She was traumatized.
This time the”it’s all about family thing won’t work.
He kicks her out. She tears up and goes and Nicole arrives, stomping into the room and getting herself a drink before she reveals “that slut Sloan” slept with Eric.
He tells her about his sister’s visit and she offers to go with him to the memorial.
At the church, Ava plants the bomb and looks at a photo of Johnny.
Charlie tells her she’s not Johnny’s cougar fantasy anymore.
She’s the crazy person who killed his grandma.
Ava tells him to take a hike. He disappears and Johnny appears behind her and asks if she’s a friend of Susan’s.
Moira arrives, crying. She greets John and he comforts her and she says she’s not crying because of Susan but his uncle Brady who kissed her.
“He tasted of coffee and sin.” Johnny’s baffled.
He looks for the woman but Ava’s long gone.
He goes out to find her and instead finds Marlena.
He asks if she’s seen the woman in the hat but she hasn’t.
She goes in and sees the nun, who fills her in on Brady’s kiss.
“Your stepson ravished me,” she says when she went to visit her. “He stuck his fornicating tongue down my virgin throat.”
Marlena looks away. “Oh. That’s an image.” Moira explains he thought Kristen was kissing him.
Moira thinks they should have done a better job keeping their son away from “that she-devil.” Marlena says they’re working on it.
Kristen returns to the townhouse and reveals EJ wasn’t interested in seeing her.
She notices Brady’s icing his arm. He tells her about his visit from Moira.
“You made out with a nun?” He cringes. “I made out with a nun today. I thought it was you.”
She laughs hysterically until Brady finally begins to laugh with her.
She asks what would have happened if she was pretending to be the nun.
Brady has a hard time with his libido as she reminds him of the sex they used to have.
He tries to fight it. She asks why he’s bothering to fight. He tells her to stop.
They get really close and are about to kiss when John turns up. “Oh boy,” he says.
Brady jumps up and goes to a meeting.
John gets two beer and tells Kristen he and Marlena were fighting about her.
At the square, Brady meets Eric and asks what’s going on with him since he heard his bro was arrested.
He had to reschedule the entire swimsuit shoot and rebook all the models. Eric’s sorry.
Brady says it cost him a lot of money. If he wasn’t his brother, he’d fire him.
Eric saves him trouble and says he quits.
Back at the church, EJ and Nicole arrive and greet Marlena.
Nicole asks her to check on Eric, who is going through something.
She’s clear that she’s there as EJ’s friend. Marlena calls it kind.
EJ opens a card from Sami with an arrangement.
Since Johnny’s not there, EJ says they can’t start yet.
Outside, Ava peeks in the window. Johnny finds her. “Ava?” She reveals herself.
