Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Eric’s rocked by Jada’s confession and goes to confront Nicole, while Wendy and Johnny decide to keep the secret about Stefan.
In the last Days recap, Johnny learned that Susan’s dead, Wendy revealed she knows what Li did to Stefan, Eric got blindsided by Jada’s news, and Nicole revealed to Chloe that she basically told Jada not to have her kid.
At the DiMera mansion, Johnny snipes at EJ that he knows what he did to Uncle Stefan. Dr. Rolf told him in Jakarta. EJ denies it. Why would he care?
Johnny says it because he’d vote on his side so he could take DiMera Enterprises back. Rolf told him it was Li but he knows it was the both of them because Wendy overheard Aunt Kristen and Li talking about it.
EJ laughs at his son trusting his aunt.
EJ starts drinking again and finally admits that yes, he has known for a while that Rolf conditioned Stefan to erase his connection to Gabi.
He didn’t make it happen but used it to solidify his connection to himself and the family. He thinks Johnny should be grateful. EJ learned about it after the fact.
EJ shares that Kristen wanted to use Stefan to get Chloe away from Brady.
Johnny asks his dad to put himself in Stefan’s shoes.
He’s grateful for Johnny and Sydney but loving Sami caused humiliation and heartbreak.
Johnny judges him and EJ says this isn’t about love. It’s about resentment and revenge.
EJ says now is his chance to make him pay.
They talk about Susan and Johnny thinks Uncle Stefan has a right to know what happened to him.
At Rafe’s house, Wendy accuses her brother of getting Rolf to hate Stefan so Li could be with Gabi. Li denies it. She tells Li that he had her and Johnny strapped down and was ready to erase their memory.
Li barks, is that what she thinks? She’s not sure what to think. Li claims that the thought makes him sick.
She reminds him of when he took Father’s Bentley out and got a scratch on it. He lied that he didn’t take the car out.
Li remembers Jing Wen poking him with a sharp stick until he admitted he took it to impress a girl. “Your point?” Li knows he’d do anything to get the girl.
Maybe things haven’t changed. “Do I have to bring out the sharp stick?”
He admits she’s right. He asked Rolf to brainwash Stefan. Wendy says she was going to use the information to get a promotion. Li barks that he already gave it to her.
But that’s not all. Wendy was worried about him. Li says this is real. “She loves me. Only me.”
Li tries to explain himself. He thought it’d help quicken his assent up the corporate ladder.
Wendy says then his feelings for Gabi grew. He nods. He couldn’t accept letting her go.
Wendy says that’s unfair to Gabi but Li tries to justify it in a few ways. Wendy sees through him.
Li tells her that he’ll go to prison, and lose his job and Gabi if she tells. He begs Jing Wen to stay quiet and convince Johnny to do so.
He reminds her of the pressure their dad put on them. He finally has the woman of his dreams.
Gabi watches from across the square as Stefan holds Chloe’s hand and tells her how beautiful she is and how lucky he is she’s in his life.
She feels the same. Gabi interrupts to ask if they’re coming to her wedding.
Chloe says they don’t exactly have the RSVP card on them.
Gabi whips one out of her bag. Stefan says they’ll attend.
He’ll talk Chloe into it because he knows they’ll have a good time.
He loves a good train wreck. She hopes he won’t cause trouble. He smiles.
He’s not going to do that. Gabi taunts Chloe that Brady will be there too, assuming with Kristen.
She leaves and Chloe admits she doesn’t want to be around Brady and Kristen.
Instead, they decide to ditch the wedding and go to the beach.
At Basic Black, Brady and Nicole talk at length about how insecure Nicole is about Jada having Eric’s baby.
Brady reminds Nic they’re going to be together. She also knows someone else is making his brother’s dream come true of having a baby with someone else.
She worries that Jada still has feelings for Eric and will want him back.
Nicole says that’s literally what he did with Chloe.
He ended things with her and moved Kristen in with him and his daughter.
Brady says they’re two totally different things. There’s no reason why the pregnancy or baby has to come between her and Eric.
At the pub, Jada tells Eric she’s not pregnant anymore. He assumes she had a miscarriage. She denies it.
She made the decision to terminate her pregnancy.
Eric’s confused. “I had an abortion,” she confesses. He’s surprised. He thought she wanted this.
Why didn’t she talk to him about this? “My body, my choice,” she says.
He knows but doesn’t understand since she seemed excited about this.
He tries to understand. She says it wasn’t an easy choice but was the right one.
He asks what changed after Thanksgiving dinner.
She says she processed what it’d be like being a single mother and a cop. It was too much.
She spoke to Nicole, who helped her realize it’d be a struggle.
She’d be alone half of the time and she couldn’t bear having a child with a man who doesn’t love her and be tied to him forever.
Eric gasps at Nicole’s part in this. He asks what she told her.
Jada tells him everything, how she painted a picture of what it’s like being a single mom.
That she’d be a part of her life, forever. “She said all that?” Jada admits she didn’t think of how hard it would be.
There are so many women with unwanted pregnancies who have no choice. Sadly. “But I did.”
He can see her conversation with Nicole changed everything.
Jada’s not sure it was her intent, but the conversation with her made her decide.
Eric makes offers to help her with follow-up appointments and asks how she feels. She’s fine.
He’s off the hook. He looks tortured. She tells him they’re out of each other’s lives now.
He gets up and slowly leaves.
Gabi arrives at Rafe’s as Li tells his sister, “Please don’t tell Gabi about this.” She asks what he means.
They lie that they were talking about his first love. Gabi says he looked guilty. Li brushes her off.
He was glad to see her beautiful face.
Wendy assures that she can confirm, her brother would do anything to keep her heart.
Gabi asks if they’re okay.
Li says they’re putting their issues behind them. Wendy goes and Gabi and Li canoodle.

Back at the DiMera mansion, EJ begs his son not to tell Stefan about any of this.
He could lose DiMera and go back to prison for his complicity.
He just lost his mama. He begs Johnny not to take anything more from him.
Stefan walks in. He thinks Johnny’s blaming his dad for Susan’s death.
Stefan calls the mess Ava’s fault and asks Johnny not to blame his dad.
Johnny agrees. He knows that his dad only wants what’s best for the family.
He goes and Stefan tells his brother he’s there for him.
If someone he loved deeply was taken from him, he knows his brother would be there for him.
Back at Basic Black, Nicole admits she does love and trust Eric.
She’ll make it work with Holly and the new baby. Eric arrives and asks Brady to let them talk alone.
Once Brady’s gone, Eric slams the door shut and turns on Nicole, shooting daggers with his eyes.
“What did you say to Jada?”
“Jada?”
“Did you encourage her to have an abortion?” Her jaw drops open.
Back at her apartment, Johnny and Wendy chat about keeping Stefan’s conditioning a secret though they don’t feel good about it.
Wendy’s sorry to hear about his grandma.
Johnny calls her a sweet woman.
Brady runs into Chloe at the square.
She tells him she’s not going to the wedding and asks if Nic’s at work.
He tells her to wait. Eric’s there and he doesn’t look happy.
At home, Jada sits on her bed, upset and close to tears.
