Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Johnny learns that Susan’s dead, Wendy reveals she knows what Li did to Stefan, Eric gets blindsided with Jada’s news, and Nicole reveals to Chloe that she basically told Jada not to have her kid.
In the last Days recap, an alive Ava surprised EJ at the crash site and pulled a gun on him, Gwen’s phony website fooled Sarah and saved Xander, while Alex and Stephanie agreed to keep quiet about Sarah’s suspicions that Xander is the kidnapper.
From work, Nicole gets a call from Eric who is checking in about her feelings about Jada.
She acts like everything is fine and her other phone rings and she disconnects before she hears him tell her he loves her.
Later, Chloe arrives with almond milk lattes. She says she got Kristen’s job, overseeing Basic Black. “And she got my man.”
They talk about how she got the job and rehash Brady moving Kristen into the townhouse.
Chloe says he’s moved on and so has she. How they raise their kid isn’t her concern.
She brings up her mother and says Nancy’s on Team Brady as is Nicole.
Nic blurts that she’s reunited with Eric. “I’m sorry, what?” Chloe says.
Nicole explains what happened. They talk about her connection to Eric and Nicole admits Jada’s pregnant.
It’s not going to be a clean break. “Oh wow,” Chloe says, and learns Nic thinks she’s keeping the baby, “However, I might have advised her not to?”
Chloe’s stunned. “You told Jada to have an abortion?”
Nic denies that but she pointed out that motherhood is rough. Chloe shrugs.
Former couples raise babies together all the time. Nicole was trying to help but Chloe says this isn’t her life.
Does she have an agenda?
Nicole blurts that she won’t lose Eric again. Chloe can see she feels threatened. “Wouldn’t you be?”
She reminds her friend of what Kristen did. Chloe says Jada’s no Kristen.
Nic knows. She wants to be secure about this but when the baby is born, Jada and Eric will fall in love with it.
Chloe says not with each other. Eric’s always loved Nicole.
Nicole thinks she probably shouldn’t have said anything to Jada but she thinks it’s best for everyone if there’s no baby.
Li arrives at Rafe’s place with dessert for breakfast.
Gabi lets him in and they talk about how Wendy and Johnny are still out of town.
He says she’d better not miss another day of work. Gabi tells him to relax.
They eat and gossip about women stomping on Rafe’s heart.
Gabi says she liked Nicole but won’t miss “that bitch” Ava.
Li laughs. He’s sorry for what happened to Rafe.
Wendy and Johnny turn up in Salem at her apartment. He thinks Jakarta was a success.
She wonders who to confront with what they’ve learned first.
“My brother or your dad.” They assume both will deny what they did to Stefan.
EJ hears knocking on his door and tells Harold to go away. Ava walks in.
EJ thinks he’s dreaming but she says it’s real and shoots him. EJ wakes up with a start, all sweaty and panting.
He dresses in a suit and goes downstairs where Stefan offers coffee.
EJ needs the hair of the dog. He put away a lot of fine single malt at the crash site yesterday.
Stefan sighs. Was he alone? EJ says he was with Rafe for a bit and he even took a swig from his flask, “If you can believe that.”
He even saw Ava, though he believes it was a hallucination. Stefan’s so sorry and offers to help.
They talk about how close Chloe and Stefan are getting and that Gabi’s seething.
Stefan says she’s been throwing her wedding plans in his face.
He wishes she’d move on. He sees a real future with Chloe.
EJ’s happy someone in the house found happiness. Stefan calls her kind and compassionate.
EJ calls it an improvement over Gabi, “that conniving snake.” Johnny interrupts and asks how far his father would go to get “that snake” out of their lives.
EJ’s glad to see his son. He has bad news.
Stefan gives them the room and EJ tells him that his grandma Susan died in a car crash and details how Ava was driving.
Johnny tears up. EJ blames Johnny for trusting that she wasn’t still psychotic.
He calms down and says he doesn’t think his son would have known this. Johnny blames himself for fighting him and defending Ava, who then kidnaps his grandma?
EJ says it had to do with revenge on him. Still, Johnny feels terrible. He’s sorry. EJ hugs his son. They’ll find a way to honor her.
Johnny cries and remembers her being the first person who realized he was possessed.
Johnny brings up what EJ wanted Rolf to do in Jakarta. EJ’s stricken.
What’s he talking about? Johnny knows what he tried to do to Uncle Stefan.
Brady meanders into the pub with cigars for Eric, who calls the baby a blessing. He’s excited though it through them for a loop.
Brady asks what the deal is with Jada. He says they’re co-parenting. Brady knows it sounds complicated but he’s sure his brother will work it out.
They talk about coming from one of the most successful blended families they know. They don’t care about ‘step’ or ‘half’. Eric brings up his bro moving Kristen in.
Brady says it’s better for their daughter. Should he move them into Granddad’s house so she can have “another stab at him?”
Talk turns to how excited Eric is about the baby. He’s happy. Brady’s concerned about how Nicole took the news about raising the baby with Jada.
Eric thinks she’s fine with it. Jada walks in looking glum.
Brady gushes about the birth and says he’ll help out however he can. He goes. Jada tells Eric, “There is no baby.”
Back at Rafe’s house, Li hears about Nicole reuniting with Eric and gets hot under the collar when he sees parallels between Nicole obsessing over Eric and Gabi doing the same over Stefan.
Gabi calls Stefan her past. Li’s her future. They kiss. He has time before he has to work.
Why doesn’t she show him her childhood bedroom? Wendy turns up and asks for time alone with her brother.
Li says they’ve no secrets. Wendy’s puzzled. Li told Gabi everything? He gets upset about Wendy playing hooky and Gabi sides with Wendy.
Li calls what his sister did outrageous and disrespectful. How could she? Wendy had a good reason. Li recalls being on a call with Rolf and telling him to administer the amnesia drug.
Gabi leaves them alone and Wendy tells her brother that she wonders what Gabi and Stefan will do when they learn what Li did to keep them apart.
Li thinks she has jet lag. Wendy knows he ordered Roolf to inject her and Johnny with a memory-erasing drug.
Li laughs and calls it absurd. She agrees and says it’s almost as absurd as him getting Stefan to erase Stefan’s love for Gabi so he could have him for himself.
Gabi watches Stefan and Chloe at the Horton square together and thinks to herself that she’d better get back to Li.
Brady finds Nicole at Basic Black. He just talked to Eric who loves her more than anything.
Nicole seems skeptical. She brings up Jada keeping the baby.
Brady says he’s looking forward to becoming a father.
