Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Eric gets lawyered up, Sloan gets in Paulina and Chanel’s face, and EJ asks Nicole to move in with him.
In the last Days recap, a drunken Eric assaulted EJ and Shawn and was arrested, while Kristen worked her wiles on Brady, and Leo supported Sonny after a disappointing phone call from Will.
Nicole wakes up in bed clutching at her head. When she turns over, she sees EJ. “Good morning Sunshine.”
She calls to God and then looks under the sheet. EJ looks under there with her and groans, seeing her naked. He tells her they “fornicated like rabbits.”
She says Eric was right. She gets dumped, drunk, and turns into “a hopeless slut.”
He laughs and Nicole wakes up in Susan’s old room, alone in a shirt.
“Okay…okay, maybe I’m not a hopeless slut. Maybe I didn’t sleep with EJ.”
EJ knocks and brings her breakfast in bed.
Fruit and a green concoction.
It’s his meemaw’s recipe and offers instantaneous relief.
They drink the green drink, which tastes terrible. It grows on you, she says. “Like a fungus,” Nicole tells him.
He says Cook prepared it. She’s grateful he let her sleep there. She wonders how Eric’s doing.
EJ thinks it’s as he deserves but Nicole feels bad. EJ rolls his eyes. Is she having second thoughts?
She doesn’t think Eric belongs in jail. EJ tells her they never had sex and he offers to spring Eric from jail.
He leaves a message for Trask at her behest. EJ offers to let her and Holly stay with them until she finds her own place.
She’s not sure but he insists. She accepts. They drink to new beginnings.
Eric holds on to his own head in a cell lat SPD. Paulina says, “Hey, handsome whatchoo in for?”
Neither expected to see the other here. Paulina thinks they picked up the wrong guy. He’s Marlena’s son and used to be a priest.
Eric says he’s in for assault and battery. “Oooooh ex-priest has a temper?”
He tells her the guy was a smug SOB who had it coming. Paulina hopes he won’t toss his cookies.
She can’t handle that. Even when Chanel was little.
He says EJ was the guy and she knows he rubs everyone the wrong way.
Eric admits what EJ said was true about him. Eric asks why she’s there. She says, “Hell hath no fury like a bitch with an axe to grind.”
Chanel wanders to Sweet Bits and sees that someone has graffitied the word ‘Murderer’ on the window.
She blanches. Later, she’s attempting to clean it up when Sloan pops in, pretending she cares. She says she didn’t do it.
She’s never approved of defacing public property. She’s glad that Chanel’s back.
She loves her pastry and plus, her mama took her place in jail.
Chanel says her mother was trying to protect her, knowing she was getting railroaded. Sloan says it must be nice.
Chanel was the reason she hit the law books so hard, so she could feel what it’s like to have everything taken from her.
Li saunters through Rafe’s kitchen in Gabi’s pink and green silky dressing gown.
They share a giggle and talk about how there’s no hot water before they kiss. They have breakfast.
They’re the best huevos rancheros he’s had. They discuss getting their own place.
Gabi has an appointment for wedding plans and dashes off.

From home, Wendy gets a call from Johnny and they discuss sticking to the plan of keeping quiet about it.
Allie strolls up. She didn’t know Wendy was home.
She disconnects and tells Allie she was talking to Johnny.
Allie inquires about their mysterious trip. Is that what she was promising to keep a secret?
Wendy says that she knows he and Chanel used to be married.
Allie thinks her girlfriend has more to worry about now.
Chanel arrives and Wendy says she just learned of her arrest and hopes her being there means charges were dropped.
Chanel says she opened Sweet Bits and her day fell apart.
She tells them about the graffiti and Sloan’s visit and what happened to Sloan’s mom.
Wendy makes them blueberry pancakes, which are delicious. Chanel wants to discuss her trip but she lies that it was work.
Everyone goes about their day once breakfast is done.
Johnny runs into Gabi at the square. They discuss Li almost firing him when they took the company jet out. He knows.
She asks why Indonesia and he blows out some air, trying to come up with a lie.
She wonders what she should do if they go. He says Li made them come home right away.
He suggests they go. She admits she never had a honeymoon. She reveals she was going to go on a honeymoon with Stefan when they married and starts to babble.
She apologizes, unsure why she’s telling him this. He says he’s got to tell her something just as Li walks up.
He asks for a moment alone with Johnny and when she leaves, he assumes Johnny was going to spill the truth.
Johnny won’t and explains his grandma died and he doesn’t want to hurt his dad.
But he thinks Li sucks. Li doesn’t care. “Stay out of my way,” he says.
Gabi returns and the men act like they’re happy with one another. Johnny goes.
Sloan drops by Salem PD cells to see how Paulina was holding up.
She says her daughter says hello. Paulina yells to stay away. She reminds Sloan her mama’s death was an accident.
Eric listens as Sloan tells Paulina to drop the victim act.
Paulina counters.
It’s no act. Her mother was a victim. “I am your victim.” Paulina thinks this isn’t the first time her father used his status to seduce girls.
Sloan taunts her about going to prison where Lani is, with Chanel and Paulina calls for the guard.
The guard comes to take Paulina to see Belle and when she’s gone, Sloan turns to Eric. “What are you gawking at?”
Eric had no choice but to hear the conversation. Sloan doesn’t think “that two-bit bimbo” won’t get Paulina out of jail.
Eric defends Belle, saying she’s his sister. Sloan apologizes.
He tells her about why he’s in there and they agree life can be hard. She offers to become his lawyer.
Upstairs, Paulina sees Chanel. Belle’s going to be delayed. Paulina’s horrified to hear about the graffiti and Sloan.
Paulina says she’s here now. Chanel should go. Chanel refuses.
Johnny drops by Wendy’s to tell her about his run in with Li.
She hates when he gets like this. Johnny thinks it’s going to be hard to keep this secret.
