On today’s full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Rhodes feeds Ciara Chinese food, Susan tells Ben she has a premonition, and Vivian fantasizes.
At their hotel in Chicago, Lani is positive that Ivan and Vivian stole their babies. Eli reminds his wife that Vivi’s dead but Lani scoffs at that. They think Ivan faked her death. Lani assumes Vivian took the twins as revenge since she took Stefan’s life. They recall that after the Nashville fire spread through the warehouse, Vivian, Ivan, and Nicole were found in a condo in Chicago. He calls Nicole to find out the location.
At their condo, Vivian tells Ivan she can’t raise twins. “I know, you can return them.” Ivan tells her that’s impossible. She rolls her eyes. What about the crying, the diaper changing, sleep deprivation? She thought she’d be traveling at her age or writing her memoir. “I might have an occasional fling,” she says, but she’s past child-rearing. She fantasizes about telling the twins about Stefan and Jacob, the Princes who ruled the land, skiing, and sailing, and doting on their beloved mother. Ivan brings caviar over and she feeds the twins some. Later, she complains about Jacob watching too much of The Sopranos, and now he has “that horrible accent.” Vivian thinks of teaching the babies to dance, of shaping and molding them, and sending them to Cotillion. She starts getting excited about raising them and then realizes one is a girl. She is surprised but she’ll name her Stefania, and the other kid, Jacob.

Ben visits Claire at home. He tells her he received a sign that Ciara is alive because their wedding photo fell over for no reason at all. It fell on a fortune cookie that reads, “Nothing is ever lost if you follow your heart.” Ben thinks Ciara’s out there. Claire prays that she is. She’s headed to see Marlena with some casserole and asks him to come along.
In her cage, Ciara reads Romeo and Juliet and thinks about how her love for Ben is infinite. “If only you could feel it,” she says. Rhodes appears with food. He taunts Ciara. Maybe Ben will kill himself or move on with another woman. Ciara doesn’t want to hear that. Rhodes says he splurged on her. “Chinese takeout.” Ciara likes it but is saddened, thinking of Ben. She shares that it was a staple for her and Ben. She eats and later, is doubled over in pain. Rhodes asks what’s wrong and she tells him he poisoned her. Rhodes says he’d never do that. Ciara clutches her abdomen, acting as if she’s in a world of pain, and feigns passing out. Rhodes lets himself into her cage and she hits him over his head and knocks him out.
Susan appears on Marlena’s doorstep. She had an awful premonition that Brady’s going to be shot. Marlena is astounded at how accurate Susan is. She reveals that it actually happened. Susan learns that Brady will be fine. “I bet it was that mean, mean, mean Kristen DiMera. I just don’t know what he sees in that She-Devil.” Marlena tells Susan that they’re in love and Kristen broke out of prison to be with him. Susan rushes to lock the door but Marlena reassures Susan that she’s back in prison and she’s changed. Susan goes to the washroom as Claire and Ben arrive. Kristen returns and grabs the poker, brandishing it at Ben and calling him a killer. Marlena says that Ben has changed and Susan believes her. She tells Ben, “I believe you so long as you don’t pull out a necktie!” She gives the fire poker back. Ben tells Marlen about his feeling that Ciara’s alive because of the photo smashing the fortune cookie. Marlena says they’ll talk about it in session. She gets word that Brady’s awake and leaves. Susan is excited that Ben had a premonition. She believes it “a hundred trillion, million percent.” She encourages Ben to believe. She takes the fortune cookie and calls to Ciara, asking if she’s calling from the other side. “Tell us where you are, come on!” Susan tells Ben Ciara’s alive.
Brady wakes up in the hospital with Chloe at his side. He asks where Rachel is and learns she’s with her sitter and everything is fine. Brady asks why he’s in the hospital and Chloe reveals he was shot. They talk about the events leading up to it. Chloe blames herself. She reveals that Kristen broke out of prison to be with him by kidnapping Tony with a gun. Brady’s shocked. Chloe feels bad in confessing that Kristen threatened her life.
Lani and Eli arrive at the condo in Chicago. They make a plan.
