Monday, March 1, 2020: On today’s full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Chloe and Susan argue over Brady, Gwen is hurt by Jack, and Jennifer calls Jenn, and Aunt Paulina visits Lani.
Abigail stops Gabi in the square. She can see that Gabi Chic is reopening and has another adventure for her. She wants her to team up to take Gwen down. Gabi isn’t interested. Abigail reminds her that Gwen drugged her and let Gabi take the fall. Gabs still doesn’t care. Revenge isn’t interesting to her anymore. Abigail pleads. She needs Gabi, knowing she can get under her skin without losing control, “Like I do.” Gabi doesn’t want to be collateral damage. Abs reminds her that Gwen had something to do with her and Jake’s breakup. Since they can’t come to an agreement, Abby says to name her price. Gabi wants Jake. “You break up him and Kate, and I’m in.” Abigail isn’t sure she’s in but when Gabi threatens to walk, Abs says she doesn’t think Gabi is right for Jake but she’ll break them up. They shake on taking down Gwen.

From Boston, Jennifer calls Jack to tell him how it’s been difficult closing her mother’s house. She’s glad to have Mike with her. She may stay a week, she tells him. When a knock comes to the door, Jack tells her he loves her and will talk to her tonight. He opens the door to Gwen, who thanks him for coming to her room when she told him about Laura, and believing when she said it was an accident. She’s not used to people trusting her and says Abigail doesn’t believe her. Jack reminds her that Abby’s been under a lot of stress. He knows she drugged Abigail. Gwen gets up, suddenly wanting to go. Jack grabs her and tells her he cares for her. But he’s on to her. She wonders if he truly even believes she didn’t kill Laura. He does. He admits he’s done an extensive investigation into her background. He’s surprised the cops haven’t contacted her about Laura. Jack assures that he won’t abandon her again and he’ll make a few calls to see what’s going on. She’s grateful. She goes and Abby arrives. She’s not happy to hear her sister was there. Jack admits he told Gwen that she’s his daughter and can count on him. Abs isn’t thrilled with that so he tells her to stay away from her.

“Susan” opens the townhouse door to Chloe. “You again?” She wants to know what Chloe wants now. Chloe walks in and says she doesn’t deserve to be spoken to that way. She made Brady some muffins. She thought he’d want them. “Susan” says, “You thought wrong, sister.” Brady comes from another room, wondering what’s got Susan so upset. “That thing, right there,” she says, pointing to Chloe. Brady asks what kind of muffins Chloe brought him. He’s pleased that she made his favorite. He decides to eat the pancakes and a muffin. When Chloe whips out some work, “Susan” freaks out. They decide to go to his room to work and “Susan” yells, “Absolutely not.” Brady asks Susan what’s going on and she lies that she’s worried about John and that he’ll get shot again because he was shot once. It’d kill John if it happened again. It’d leave Dr. Marlena Evans a grieving widow. “Susan” can’t handle that. Chloe didn’t realize how scared she was for John. Brady’s sorry. Kristen hugs him, grinning wildly that she’s in his arms. She’s quite pleased when Chloe has to go.
At Statesville, Lani’s confused when “Kristen” talks about Rachel being in Italy. “Kristen” says she’s right and then her dentures slip and she turns away to fix them. She covers and says Brady was talking about taking Rachel to their home in Italy. It got her misty-eyed to see “the old world.” Lani shakes her head and, “The old world?” It’s a strange phrase for her friend to use. “Kristen” says she hears their gelato is better than their ice cream there. Lani’s more confused than ever. “Kristen” covers again and Lani reminds her of getting their day passes and how good Kristen’s Italian is. Talk turns to Brady’s gunshot wound. “Kristen” blames Chloe for the shooting. Susan’s accent comes through a little as she talks about Chloe being a “doe-eyed diva.” “Kristen” thinks she’s after him right now. Lani thinks she’s being paranoid. She tells her they’ll say a prayer, the way they used to in the convent. “Kristen” pretends she remembers that. She prays, “Please keep that hateful slut from taking away my Brady in that low cut in the front dress and that push-up bra.” Lani offers to bring chowder and a hot fudge sundae when she comes next after “Kristen” complains about the “nasty” Jello. When she goes, Susan has a psychic moment while holding the twins’ photo. Someone is going to visit Lani today.
Outside the pub, Abe and Eli discuss the investigation into Laura’s death. Abe calls it a sad situation. Talk turns to Charlie Dale’s murder and Sami being detained. Eli’s waiting for the ballistics report and has nothing new to tell him so far. Abe’s surprised to hear Lani’s at Statesville visiting Kristen DiMera. Neither is quite happy about that, but Eli says his wife thinks Kristen’s a changed woman. What can he do? The men go to pick up the babies.

Gabi visits Gwen at the Inn. Gabi tells her she’s there to talk about whether they are even about her letting Gabi take the rap for drugging Abigail.
Lani returns home after seeing Kristen and tells Abe and Eli that her friend isn’t herself. She gets the door. Aunt Paulina arrives. “Aunt Paulina?” Paulina says, “That’s right, baby. Surprise!”
