This may be the most psychos we’ve had on Days of our Lives at once.
Days is well known for all the psychos that live in or visit Salem. There should be a Salem Psycho Support Group they can all attend. This week, it seems as though they’ve all gathered at one time. They all have something in common. Not only are they not taking responsibility for their crimes, but they blame their transgressions on others. Choose – who is the worst of the bunch by voting in our poll!
Vivian Alamain & Ivan Marsais
Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) is technically gone since he’s in prison and it doesn’t look as though he’ll be seen again, but Vivian (Linda Dano) is in prison with Kristen, and you know what that means. These two will get up to no good together! She’ll be around at least for another week, while she comes to an agreement with Kristen.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently threatened Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) life with a gun, so she’s back on our psychos’ list and she’s currently trying to rope poor naive Susan Banks (Haiduk) into trading places with her so that she can keep an eye on her boyfriend, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). She wants to keep him away from beauteous Chloe Lane.
Evan Freers “Pick a name, dude” Christian Maddox
Evan (Brock Kelly) looks pretty, and it’s fun seeing him as a psycho, but really? Blaming Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) for not letting Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) go down for murdering Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) when Evan did it is the absolute worst. Dude should have stayed in Bayview. I’d rather he owned it, instead of whining to Ciara in a long-winded, boring sob story about how he had a breakdown in prison (poor murderer) and was transferred to Bayview and locked up. That said, I wouldn’t have minded if he took that gun to the Horton Square and offed Charlie (Mike Manning)!
Another one. Just pick a name. “You can call me
orifice Orpheus,” he told Rhodes. Um. Okay. Weirdo. I thought Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was in a special ISA prison. He’s back in the general population in Statesville with Clyde Weston (James Read) and helping his son Evan to hold Ciara captive. Does he hold Clyde responsible for his prison escape turning out badly or is there more?
Rhodes (Jason Downs) is dead. Killed by Evan, sadly. He was an interesting villain, with more depth than I’ve seen in such a short time than some of our psychos. But how good was he if Evan got into his compound? Either way, we did say goodbye to our cowboy psycho this week so we’re one less psycho. RIP Rhodes! He’s still going in our poll!
Charlie’s a sad sack sort. He hates his mother, has no friends, is jealous of his brother, “Golden Boy” Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), and he has latched on to Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) who, after a few weeks he sees as his “soulmate.” He raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). But somehow he thinks she was into it. I can’t wait until this guy is killed off. In fact, I was hoping Evan would go to the square when he was lying to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) about calling sex with Allie consensual and shoot him in the head. Strangely, he and Gwen are more similar than expected…
Gwen has no family. No friends. No boyfriend. No job, and she hates her sister Abigail who she calls a Princess, but who has done nothing to deserve her wrath. Gwen dragging Charlie for being a rapist was so much fun Friday. Almost as much fun as Jake dragging her for her psycho ways at the beginning of the week. It’s a shame that we didn’t get to see a real knock-down, drag-out fight between Gwen and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) at Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) gravesite. The pandemic kind of puts a damper on some of what they’re able to do.
So far, Clyde has buried his psychotic nature under his prison denims. For now. He even helped Ben find a lead in Ciara’s disappearance, which was a surprise. But if he’s sticking around, will that mean another prison break out between him and Orpheus?
