In the Wednesday, October 5, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor begs her daughter to stop encouraging a reunion, Hope and Thomas discuss their teamwork, and Liam tells Brooke that Hope has been spending the night at Eric’s.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where angry Ridge pondered his destiny and was inspired by a pine cone and Hope told Thomas she believes in him.
At Eric’s, Ridge stands in the garden and contemplates what destiny means. He thinks of Taylor and then of Brooke until a pine cone falls from the sky. Picking it up, he smiles.
In Aspen, Taylor tells her daughter that she’s already feeling lighter. Steffy thinks they should buy Bill’s house as a family getaway spot.
Her mom is eager to find a path in her life. Steffy hopes that will lead her straight back to Ridge.
Taylor looks out the window and tells her daughter she wants to stay in and sort her thoughts out.
She’s been acting like a teenager in love and making some questionable choices.
Steffy begs her not to give up on her dad. Her mom repeats that she doesn’t want to be stuck in the cycle anymore.
She can’t let her feelings impair her judgment.
Her daughter says her connection to Ridge is amazing. Taylor admits she always holds onto the glimmer of hope that he will commit to her again.
However, it’s not right for them to wish for Brooke to break his heart and drive him away.
She begs her daughter to stop encouraging this. It will only bring heartbreak to all of them.
Steffy repeats that Ridge’s marriage to Brooke will implode like always. Her mom doesn’t want him under those conditions. She wants to be his first choice.
Ridge can’t give her that and she deserves more. She can’t give him more time.
His heart is divided between two women and she needs to let him go, no matter how hard it is.
Giving him all her love is breaking her and she can’t do it anymore. She’s in tears. Steffy finally gets it and gives her a hug.

At Brooke’s, she and Liam vent about Thomas and reassure themselves that they aren’t being paranoid about him.
He keeps texting Hope.
As they sip ice tea, she looks forward to the romantic evening she has planned for Ridge.
She’s sure he will have an amazing night with Hope too.
Liam admits there have been a few nights where she has spent the night at Eric’s with Beth.
Brooke is shocked by this. “Now I’m really worried,” she says, telling him he needs to be there for her daughter.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas tells Hope about the visit from CPS.
She tells him he could have called her for backup. He didn’t realize she had so much faith in him.
Thomas assures her she is always welcome in his home.
She appreciates that and tells him he doesn’t need to walk on eggshells around her.
Hope misses having Douglas at her home.
While she was reluctant about this, she can see how much he likes being with his father. She’s never seen him so happy.
As they sit around, she reminds him they are a team and need to be able to communicate just like they do around the office.
They discuss the Hope for the Future line and she thanks him for all his artistry and dedication.
Thomas promises he will always give his best.
After looking at his sketches, she suggests he put a slit in a skirt. They brush against each other. Things are a little awkward and she exits, looking over at him.
Steffy calls her brother and tells him how much pain their mom is in.
She’s questioning everything. When she asks where Ridge is, Thomas admits he hasn’t seen him for a while.
Back at home, Brooke calls Ridge and has to leave a message saying how much she can’t wait to see him.
In Aspen, Taylor walks in the woods and thinks of Ridge.
As she walks past a pine tree, that happens to have a pine cone, she hears Ridge’s voice.
He suddenly wanders over to her.
He’s smiling but she looks quizzical.
