In the Monday, November 8, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon asks Brooke to let him into their lives, Quinn visits Carter, and Donna and Katie gossip over Quinn. Soaps Spoilers has Friday’s B&B recap where Brooke talked with Hope about her past with Deacon.
Hope hugs Deacon as she cries. He’s moved by her emotion and tells her that her letters saved her. She says they have a lot of time to make up for. She begs her mom not to shut the door on him. Brooke’s eyes fill with tears. Hope asks if she was in love with Deacon at one time. It must be so, “For your love to have created me. Right, mom?” Brooke admits, “Of course there were feelings, however misguided.” She has a lot of regrets but never regretted that Deacon gave them their beautiful daughter. Deacon’s sorry he caused her to lose faith and is ready to make up for lost faith and trust. He doesn’t expect her to believe it but he intends to earn it. He asks her to let him in to love their daughter. Hope brings up Sheila. Deacon says that’s over. He only wants to discuss their family unit. He’s not trying to con Brooke or guilt-trip her. He just wants her to know he has love for their daughter. He asks her not to judge his past. He spent a lot of time thinking of everything he has done and missed out on. Hope wants this opportunity to bring him back into her life. He tells Brooke in ten different ways that he won’t let them down.
At Forrester, Ridge assures Liam that Brooke will never open her door to Deacon again. Liam says, unfortunately, the guy keeps coming back. Ridge says his wife knows exactly who he is and will do “everything in her power” to keep him away from Hope. He asks about the scandal and Ridge tells Liam that it wasn’t one of Brooke’s finest moments. Liam says if it hadn’t happened, they wouldn’t have Hope. That’s not a world he wants to live in. Ridge figures that Liam has to be the last line of defense, especially as Deacon is trying to play the father card. Liam will do what it takes to protect his wife. Ridge is glad they can work together to keep him away from Hope.

At Il Giardino, Katie is sorry that Donna was fired and that Eric let Quinn bully him into cutting her out of his life. Donna drinks some wine and nods. Katie thinks Eric should have defended her. Donna tells her sister that this is all on Quinn. She can’t believe she won’t be seeing her sisters daily at work. She toys with her wine glass and Katie thinks Quinn should be thanking her for learning that Eric’s erectile condition isn’t permanent. They talk about Carter who is loyal, dependable…Katie says, “And hot. Really hot.” Donna laughs. They discuss Quinn being with him and Katie calls them an unlikely couple like her and Bill. Donna asks what happened. She says he’s been so reckless with their lives. He called Brooke the love of his life. “What am I supposed to do with that?” She’s looking forward to a better, brighter future with a man who loves only her.
A guy (Big Brother’s Xavier Prather) gives Carter some documents in his office. He thinks it’s going to be hot. “Like a cookout. It’ll go viral for sure.” They talk about the one that got away and Carter nods. It’s an awful feeling. He tells the guy to run it past Ridge. The guy goes and Carter flashes to Quinn dumping him.
Quinn turns up. He asks what he can do for her. “Try not to hate me,” she says. He wouldn’t know how. She tells him, “You brought me back to life.” He gave her love and she’s sorry she broke his heart. She never meant to hurt him. Staying with her husband doesn’t negate the love they felt for each other. They discuss the pull between them and how powerful it was. He regrets betraying Eric. Katie eavesdrops at the door as Quinn talks about how she and Eric would be better off if “Those Logan women would just stay out of our lives.” Katie walks in and defends her sisters. They’ve loved Eric long before she came along and they’ll look out for him as long as they can. If she wants them to back off she should stop giving them reasons to be protective.
Ridge arrives home, shocked to see Deacon with Brooke and Hope. Brooke’s mouth falls open in surprise and Ridge moves to grab Deacon’s arm. He ushers him to the door and tells him to get out. Brooke raises her voice. “Leave him alone,” she says to Ridge. Ridge turns around, shocked at her defending her ex.
