In the Monday, November 29, 2021, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge and Brooke disagree about Deacon, Hope and Deacon share a tender moment, and Ridge catches Deacon at Hope’s and doesn’t like it. Brooke pours coffee for Ridge at the Forrester estate. He can’t believe she gets better looking every day. She says that goes both ways. As she kisses him and massages his shoulders, she reminds him Hope is out of the house and suggests they head upstairs.
Hearing Hope’s name just reminded him that she is bringing Deacon back into their lives. She points out that Hope is a grown woman and can see who she wants. Ridge insists they have a right to decide who is allowed on their property and hopes he realizes not having Deacon around is best for everyone.
Brooke reminds him that Hope is not a little girl anymore. He insists that Deacon is a predator and he hasn’t changed. “You need to tell her this guy is bad news,” he insists, unable to believe he has to convince her of this.
Pacing the room, Brooke insists she doesn’t want to argue about this. They just need to trust that Hope is a level-headed woman. When she heads upstairs to get her notes for a video call, he storms out.
Hope shows Deacon around at her place. He thanks her for letting him come over but doesn’t want to cause any problems with Ridge or her husband. She is sure that things will work themselves out and she won’t let anyone dictate who she sees. Hope believes he has changed and wants to get to know the new him. Deacon promises he won’t betray her faith in him.
He can hardly believe he’s there and wishes he’d been a better father. She knows they can’t change the past but they can learn from it. “You literally brought light into my world,” he explains. Her letters brought him back to life in prison and gave him a reason to get out of bed.
He only hopes that Brooke can learn to see him the way she does. His daughter says that’s not impossible. It’s important for him to show that he’s trustworthy so he can win everyone else over.
Deacon thanks her again. She gets calls off to the office and lets him stay to make some calls. As soon as she leaves him alone, he thinks of tearful Hope begging her mom to let him stay. Ridge shows up and they immediately start arguing about Deacon’s right to be on the property. Ridge calls him a “bottom feeder’ and insists he will never change.
Deacon is adamant he is only trying to earn his daughter’s love. Reminding him that he will always protect Brooke, Hope, and the children from him, Ridge grabs him by the shoulder and is about to throw him out when Brook shows up. Her husband tells her that he needs her to back him up and order Deacon to leave and never return.

Liam and Steffy head into her office at Forrester Creations. He comments on how lucky they are to always be on the same page about their kids, especially when it comes to keeping them away from people like Deacon. Steffy doesn’t know how he’s dealing with Hope wanting Deacon in her life. She’s sure that’s putting a strain on his marriage.
He admits that this all comes at a time when they are just getting their marriage back on track. If it was just the two of them, he could live with it, but there are kids involved. Steffy says Deacon poses a threat to all of their kids. It’s alarming that he is already exercising influence over Hope. Liam doesn’t want to be a dictator.
She insists he’s not and neither is her father. She’s sure that simply seeing Deacon is a horrible reminder to Brooke and Ridge of the lowest point in their marriage. Besides that, Deacon is a “freeloading loser.” Liam has realized that Hope still misses having a father and worries he will take advantage of her. As they continue to argue about this, Hope arrives to hear it. She bursts in and accuses Steffy of causing problems in her marriage.
