In the Thursday, August 18, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon’s world is rocked, Steffy and Taylor bash Brooke after Ridge confesses Brooke knows about that kiss, and Hope talks to her mom about Thomas’ demands.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Brooke reacted to Ridge telling her that he kissed Taylor.
At Hope’s cabin, Brooke says she’ll stand by Hope and her kids, always. Hope is grateful. She says things were safe and comfortable and Thomas wants to interrupt.
Brooke calls it unfair, especially to Douglas.
Thomas feels guilty about not being around.
Brooke says he can drive him to school and go to more of his games. Hope knows he’s been making more of an effort. She wants a compromise.
Douglas needs him to be hands-on. Brooke agrees but doesn’t think he needs to move the kid in with him to Eric’s.
Hope doesn’t get why being a Forrester matters. It’s all about what the kid wants and needs.
Hope doesn’t want it to hurt her relationship. Brooke won’t let it happen, especially now that Taylor’s “circling around.” She admits Ridge kissed Taylor and provides his reasoning why — that they were apparently swept up in the miracle that Finn was alive.
Hope’s surprised. She gets that it must have been shocking but when they found out, they took a photo together. They didn’t kiss Taylor.
Ridge just happened to forget he was married again? Brooke admits she was shocked when he told her but she’s made mistakes.
Hope respects her for taking the high road but asks how she really feels about that kiss.
At the Cliffhouse, Taylor and Steffy have breakfast and Steffy pushes her mom to think about getting back with her dad.
Ridge appears and they look sheepish. He tells them he confessed to Brooke that he kissed Taylor and she wasn’t happy. Steffy snarks that she has no reason to be. Ridge argues that “of course she does. She’s my wife.”
Steffy reminds her dad of the many times Brooke’s kissed other men.
He knows all that. Taylor thinks it’s smart that Brooke forgave him. The women remind him of the many guys Brooke kissed. Ridge doesn’t want this to get into a Brooke bash fest. Steffy wants to remind her dad of who he is.
He knows. They discuss Thomas wanting to be with Thomas and Steffy is driven crazy that this is always about the Logan’s not him.
She thinks he cuts Brooke a lot of slack. She now knows how fleeting life can be and he’s wasting his time on Brooke because she’s obsessed with him.
Now, Brooke and Hope won’t allow Thomas to raise Douglas. Ridge tries to get a word in edgewise but can’t.
He says he does want them to be together. Steffy demands he get Thomas and bring Douglas to him and reunite with Taylor.
She’s seen how he looks at Mom. He looks at Taylor, who is smiling. Steffy goes to check on Hayes and Taylor says that their daughter means well.
She tells him he moved home, yet he’s there all the time and seems happier when he’s there. She doesn’t think she’s wrong. “I don’t think you are,” he admits. She reminds him of his St. Thomas proposal. He meant what he said then.
She feels their history, their whole love story was erased and like it’s always been Brooke. It’s changing and there are feelings coming up between them. It’s confusing.
She talks about being a different woman then. She wants to be with him but if he wants Brooke, that’s fine.
She asks what he wants. She doesn’t think he wants Brooke. He says nothing during this whole exchange.

At Deacon’s apartment, he wakes up to his mysterious redhead.
He caresses her arm and goes to the fridge but he’s hungry for sex, not food. He gets back into bed and growls at the woman.
He kisses her leg and when he reaches her foot, he’s startled by her missing middle toe.
“What happened here?” She takes off the black glasses and watches him.
He starts to put things together that she’s Sheila, flashing back to Sanchez showing him Sheila’s removed toe. “No! No. No. No, this can’t be…”
He freaks out and she rips off her mask, revealing she’s Sheila.
