In the Tuesday, October 11, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas is revealed to be Brooke’s gaslighter while Steffy and Taylor spy on Ridge and Brooke while he dumps her, and Donna and Thomas have it out.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Thomas told Douglas to stop using the voice sampler app on his phone, Thomas disparaged Brooke in front of her sister Donna, and Brooke couldn’t believe Ridge dumped her for Taylor in Aspen, without warning or reason.
Brooke’s confused s to why Ridge would make promises to Taylor when they’re still married and in love.
When she asks if he still loves her, he stares and says nothing. She won’t give up on them.
Inside, Taylor tells Steffy she’s on a high from reuniting with Steffy’s father, just when she was giving up on them.
Steffy thinks the world has a way of working things out when it’s meant to be.
She gazes outside and is startled to see Brooke with Ridge. “Oh my God!”
She tells her mother, who asks Steffy to leave it. She wants to see how Ridge handles it.
He wants her to trust him so that’s what they’ll do. They spy, instead.
Brooke asks if she’s done something that has upset Ridge. Ridge recalls hearing what sounded like her voice calling CPS on Thomas.
He says nothing and Brooke becomes exasperated at his lack of communication.
“For the love of God, Ridge. Tell me what’s going on!”
At Eric’s house, Thomas gloats to Eric and Donna about his parents being back together.
Eric asks if he’s sure. He tells them it was a video call.
Donna barks that it’s at her sister’s expense. He thinks years of defending her sister, he thinks it’s a hard habit to break. Donna says it’s not a habit. Thomas thinks “after years of Brooke causing heartbreak, your sister and my father are over.”
Eric thinks they should change the subject before things get out of hand. Thomas says it’s fine.
Donna doesn’t defend everything Brooke does but she knows her sis won’t stand around and let Ridge leave her for Taylor.
Thomas says Ridge does get sucked back in. “It’s a game for her.” Donna denies that.

B&B opinion: Taylor, Ridge’s second choice?
They finally agree to disagree. Eric understands how happy Thomas is but he’ll always have a soft spot for Brooke. He’s fond of Taylor, too. Donna assumes her sister is in Aspen with Ridge.
“She shouldn’t be,” Thomas says. Donna reminds him he’s still her husband. Thomas snarks at Donna and Eric defends his wife.
She’s not Brooke. And they shouldn’t interfere. Thomas thinks that’s what Brooke’s doing. Donna again points out that the couple is still married.
She doesn’t think it’ll ever be over. The arguing continues until Steffy calls.
Thomas puts her on speaker and Steffy tells them that Brooke’s in Aspen. Who told Brooke?! Donna reveals she told Brooke. Steffy sighs and asks why she has to get involved.
“Course, she is your sister.” She tells Donna that her sister’s days with her father are over.
Donna says not to discount Brooke and Ridge’s love for one another. He calls it desperate.
Donna calls it love. Eric admires Taylor but he agrees with Donna.
You can’t count out Ridge and Brooke. He thinks that Taylor and Steffy are learning the same thing. Donna calls Taylor remarkable but she believes her sister is everything to Ridge.
She asks Eric to go for a ride. She needs air.
Outside in Aspen, Brooke and Ridge walk. She again wants to know what’s going on. Why is he in Aspen?
She’s worried about what promises he made Taylor.
She doesn’t think it matters and knows he loves her. She asks point blank again why exactly he’s leaving her. Is it Deacon or something else?
She wants to work on it but he says, “We’re not working on everything.”
She doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
He calls it complicated.
“Then what!” She asks what brought him to this point.
He shakes his head.
Inside, Steffy wants to go outside but Taylor says it’s between Ridge and Brooke.
He thinks this is Brooke bringing the drama. Ridge knows her.
Steffy doesn’t think it’ll work. She repeats it.
Outside, Brooke thinks it’s obvious that she did something but she doesn’t know what.
She won’t pressure him to talk about it but asks him to come home with her.
They’ll work on it. She tells him she’s her husband and they’re going home together. “Why are y ou doing this?” He asks. Why is she pretending that she doesn’t know what this is? She’s baffled.
He shakes his head and again thinks about hearing what sounds like Brooke’s voice calling CPS.
But he doesn’t say it aloud.
Back inside, Taylor gets antsy. She wants to believe Ridge. This is why she didn’t want to do this again. He convinced her he changed but the thought that he might return to Brooke… she trails off.
Steffy doubts it’ll happen. She comforts Taylor, reminding her that her father loves her.
Back in L.A., Thomas smirks to himself that Brooke called CPS.
“Only it wasn’t you Brooke, it was me.”
He taps the voice sampler and uses the Brooke mode and plays back what he just said, with an evil smirk.
