In the Thursday, December 22, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Grace gives Katie good news, Eric worries Ridge is untethered, and Finn tries distracting Steffy from worries about Sheila.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Katie cried about living on borrowed time and Carter and Taylor learned Steffy saw Sheila.
Steffy and Finn kiss at the beach house and then she screws up her face, wondering where the mistletoe is.
He doesn’t need it when he has a hot wife.
He admires the insane amount of decorating she has done.
They talk about how cute it was to watch the kids decorate the tree.
The holidays would be even better if the fear of Sheila wasn’t hanging over them.
Her husband assures her that Sheila will be caught and they just need to stay vigilant.
The doctor promises he will always be there to protect her and the kids.
Kelly joins them and discusses skating and Santa.
She starts asking about why Rudolph’s nose is red but it’s too difficult for them to answer.
The kid is just happy they are all together for Christmas. They cuddle.
Sitting on the couch, they talk about Hayes and his letter to Santa.
Steffy says that love is what Christmas is all about.
Kelly declares that this is the best Christmas ever.
They cuddle her some more.
After the kid takes off, Steffy says that this is the greatest Christmas ever because they are together.
She recalls their miraculous reunion in Monaco.
They kiss.
At Eric’s, he goes through the old ornaments his kids made.
Ridge strolls in and remembers making it in third grade.
Eric admits he’s worried his son might be feeling untethered this holiday season.
Ridge doesn’t like him worrying. He’s an adult; he should have his act together by now.
His father agrees with that, not that he’s one to talk.
When Ridge is asked what happened, he explains that Brooke and Taylor dumped him.
He was really proud of them for doing something they were convinced was right.
He’ll be okay. Eric is sure of it.
Charlie and Pam come in with bags of groceries for the Christmas bash.
They hope Ridge will stick around after what Brooke and Taylor did.
He squints as they talk about him getting the heave-ho and point out Brooke will be there on the holiday.
After they head off to bake a cake, Eric tells Ridge that Brooke will be there for her sister.
He’s sure she would want to see him even with what’s happened.
Ridge knows he screwed up. Why would those two women put up with him letting them down over and over again?
He needs to find a way to be a better man.
Eric says he will still be his old man, whether he accomplishes that or not.
“I love you, boy,” he says, giving Ridge a hug.

At Grace’s office, Katie holds Carter’s hand and worries about her results.
Grace smiles. Katie keeps talking about living on borrowed time and how much she doesn’t like coming to her appointments.
Grace explains the test results are all positive.
She has a very healthy heart.
Katie wipes away some tears.
Carter smiles.
Grace says she’s a walking miracle and she’s happy she has a wonderful support system.
Katie looks at Carter and smiles.
The doctor takes off to another consult.
Katie didn’t want anyone to worry about her, but she can’t thank him enough for coming.
Carter and Katie head back to the office. She wants to go to a PR meeting, but he thinks she should be basking on the good news.
After he gets her to sit down, he gets her to close her eyes and breathe.
He tells her that he doesn’t have to go through her worries by herself. He’d like to help.
Katie says his being there helped.
He wants to be there for her. She doesn’t need to be alone anymore.
A tear falls out of her eye and she chuckles.
He doesn’t have a jet or a yacht, but those things don’t mean anything to her. She has a new lease on life and is determined to use Storm’s heart to live her life and love fully.
She thanks him and they cuddle.
