In the Thursday, April 20, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Hope tells Deacon he’s a hero, Carter reminds Katie that Bill hurt her, and Bill tells Sheila she will die in prison.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Taylor and Bill taunted Sheila in prison, Carter asked Katie if her feelings for Bill have changed now that he’s her hero.
At the prison, Sheila gets bored listening to Taylor and Bill.
Taylor says she’s finished and now locked away from anyone she ever cared about. Sheila kicks herself for trusting Bill. He’s still amazed she brought him into her dark, toxic world.
He sacrificed a lot and would sacrificed even more to make sure she dies alone and unloved: the two things she dreads the most. That is her inescapable fate.
Snapping at gloating Taylor, Sheila says she should be in the cell next to her for shooting Bill.
Taylor mocks her. Sheila warns she can still cause trouble when she’s locked up.
Bill explains that he cut a deal with the Feds to fully exonerate Taylor. The shrink tells Sheila that her days of terrorizing their families are over.
As they exit, Bill tells Sheila she will die there and no one will care.
Left alone, Sheila bangs on the table and tries to control herself.
In her office at Forrester Creations, Katie admits she doesn’t know how to explain her feelings for Bill.
Carter asks again if Bill’s heroic actions have changed the way she thinks about him. He can understand everyone being in awe of Bill. Plus, she shares a child with him.
Katie says family is exasperating but family always comes first for him.
Bill has proven that there is good inside him. She’s glad everyone can see what she saw years ago.
She says all of this has just reminded her that Bill can be maddening and marvelous at the same time.
Carter doesn’t want to diss him, but he doesn’t want to see Bill hurt her again.
They hold each other. She knows he’s just being concerned.
He reminds her of how Bill disrespected her with her sister. She deserves better.
Katie admires him and loves what they have become to each other. She trusts that he sees her and hears her.
He’s grateful for that and reminds her she left Bill for a reason.
Bill arrives at the door and watches them for a moment before interrupting. He informs them that Sheila is now totally isolated and there’s no one with an ounce of sympathy for her.
He tells them how cathartic it must have been for Taylor to confront Sheila.
When Bill asks to speak to Katie alone, she says he can say anything in front of Carter.
Bill tells her how much he misses her. His life isn’t a life without her in it. He needs her now more than ever.
All the time he spend trying to bust Sheila only reinforced how much he loves her and how it would kill him to lose her.
He knows she’s been spending time with Carter and he’s a decent man, but doesn’t mean he will give up. They share a family and they can have that again if she gives him one more chance.
Bill is sure he’s proven that he will go to any lengths necessary to get what he wants.
He loves her and believes she still loves him too. “Tell me that you’re still my Katie?” he asks.

At Il Giardino, Hope tells Deacon how much she loves him and admires all he did to capture Sheila. He’s a hero to her.
Deacon is moved and gives her a hug, almost tearing up.
He’s happy she thinks he did something heroic but he just got pulled into it. She tells him he did a lot to be proud of.
Changing the topic, he offers some tiramisu and asks what it’s like working with Thomas again.
She assures him it’s all okay and Thomas won’t step over any lines. Liam will come around too.
Hope urges him to just focus on his restaurant while she deals with her husband. She thanks him again for his help taking Sheila down.
After she leaves, he fondly flashes back to his romance with Sheila and sadly recalls how she looked at him when he betrayed her.
Back at the prison, Sheila asks the guard to take her to her cell. He explains she has another visitor.
Deacon is shown in. As soon as he sits, he tells her how sorry he is. He was worried about her after her heart attack.
She says she’s doing better.
He was afraid this would happen. He didn’t want this. Reminding her of their crazy relationship, he tells her he couldn’t help himself.
He was always drawn to her and they both know how he really feels about her.
“Please tell me you don’t hate me,” Deacon begs.
